5/16/20 (7:45 p.m.) Tonight is the 1st night of practicing a mindfulness meditation as taught by Thich Nhat Hanh. Assume your posture, become aware of the breath (no judgment or control, no trying to make it different, let it naturally lengthen & deepen. The mind begins to quiet & be more at peace. Now repeat “Breathing in, I know that I’m in.” and on the exhale, “Breathing out, I know that I know that I’m breathing out.” Stay as long as you wish.
